The Château Roubine vineyards are set on the Julian Way, which date back to Roman times. First mentioned in archives in the early 14th century, the Château was donated to the Order of Saint Jean of Jerusalem by the Knights Templar in 1307. Over the 15th century, Château Roubine was the proud property of several of Provence's most influential families. The Château now covers 270 acres, 173 of which are planted with grape vines. Today's wine bottle aptly reflects the rich history of Château Roubine; the glass is carved with the Templar coat of arms, featuring a dragon and a lion protected by the sun's rays, respectively symbolizing the historic Provencal towns of Draguignan and Lorgues.
 Nestled in the heart of the vineyard is the Mas des Candeliers (Cottage in the Vines) where you will enjoy peace and tranquility and the never ending hospitality of the Château Roubine family and staff. The Mas des Candeliers combines the look and feel of an Old World cottage with the service and comfort of a contemporary Bed and Breakfast.
